Thank you. I think the timing is perfect. Sadly, this is a time when societies/ people are trying to suppress and erase the truth about our histories, and deny the horrors and damages that racism left on the people who had to experience it. It was our good fortune to have in person Minnijean Brown Tricky, a Civil Rights Icon who personally experienced severe racism trying to integrate the previously Whites Only schools in Little Rock Arkansas. It is the worlds good fortune that she became a civil rights and human rights activist and educator who teaches , and mentors, and works to empower youth today.

Addena--I think what you're writing about is wonderful and timely. But I don't think you should discount your experience with racism. Racism is racism no matter how big or small. While this interview is something that has historical and cultural significance, I'm really interested in hearing your story. Maybe that could be a separate post. Keep going!
