Love the pics of the mama deer with her babies. You are so fortunate to have been able to witness a birth!

Every time I think you can't possibly come up with any more fascinating subjects to write about..... you do!! The story about Betty Boop is interesting. I had to Google Helen Kane after reading it. I'm sure I'm not the only one who had never heard of Baby Esther. (Or Helen Kane for that matter.) And that's just wrong. I think I thought Betty Boop was just a cartoon character. We're never to old to learn!

So glad to know Kelowna is finally celebrating Pride Month (love the pics)! It's great to see how far Kelowna has come as far as overcoming its homophobia. When my nephew and his partner first moved there back in the late 80s, it was such a Bible-thumping town that they got turned down by two banks when they applied for a mortgage.

As always, your poems are thought provoking, and this time... a little raunchy! Hmm... porch good-nights... I recall a few but none quite this interesting!

Thanks for another fun and interesting read, my friend!! Love you!
