“Peace”. We all thought Peace in the world would actually arrive. Didn’t we? Loved reading everything. I understand the loneliness of writing but I’m always in your corner sending good vibes 🥰
💖Thank you, thank you. You are so right on. Peace is always a noble cause, and still as relevant and worth fighting for today as it was “back in the days”.
Ahhhhh. Thank you Sidney. I am pleased and proud that my poetry and stories appeal to a wide range of readers and writers as well. That’s what is keeping me going.
Thanks to you for your observations on the state of our world. I agree we gain grounds on civil and human rights and peace, and then those gains seem to backslide. I’m so pleased to hear your comments and words of encouragement.
Ahhh thank you so much Debra. I find it so disheartening that we are still having to fight for wqual Justice and peace. I find it encouraging however that we, and new generations are keeping up the fight.
Hope you have a great summer too. Let me know what you’re up to and if I can shine a little light on your projects.
Lovely poems, Addena, and the latter two are so relevant to today's woes. Thanks for sharing info about the Drake. It sounds awesome. Enjoy the summer!
Thanks for shining your light today - just when I needed it! I love your poem based on the artwork - when does the competition close? Also love both of your poems from years ago - man, some things never change. Or they kinda do, but then they slide backwards again. [sigh] I googled The Drake Eatery - it looks like a fun place & the food pics are making me hungry! Take care! Miss you!
I look forward to your monthly newsletter! I always come away feeling better. You have a special way of drawing us in, through your poetry of the past and present, through your photos and through your storytelling. I love the Reset poem. I can hear your voice without listening to the recording. I love heating your take on current events, and your reflections on the past. Peace, my friend. Peace.
Hope you and my buddy are well.....Loved reading your newsletter today and love the especially poems from the past.....I don't know whether it's good or bad that the message is still relevant today...but peace is alway a noble cause....T
